Stratton Ltd. was founded by Carl Stratton to provide part-time and project CFO services to small-to-medium-sized businesses throughout the Philadelphia area. We allow firms without a full-time CFO workload or budget the opportunity to obtain CFO-level services on a part-time, cost-effective basis.

Mr. Stratton has over 20 years’ CFO and entrepreneurial experience in a wide range of industries. He has been the CFO of two public companies, raised over $700 million in debt and equity capital, and built and managed the finance and accounting functions of several start-up companies in which annual sales growth exceeded 50%. In one of his CFO positions he was on the investment committee which approved $1 million to $5 million investments in small businesses located in the US and Canada. Mr. Stratton has successfully sold two of his businesses, one as CFO and the other as founder and President.

Mr. Stratton’s specific experience includes the founding of Carlton Services, LLC, an outsourced bookkeeping firm, and the founding of 2020 Growth Partners, a management and financial consulting firm. He held Chief Financial Officer positions at Sirrom Capital Corporation, an NYSE-traded specialty finance company, International Citrus Corporation, a small public citrus and real estate company, and Dove Computer Corporation, an Apple Macintosh peripherals manufacturer. He also held various engineering and manufacturing positions at DuPont.

Mr. Stratton holds a BS Degree in Chemical Engineering from Lafayette College and an MBA Degree from University of North Carolina. He is a Certified Public Accountant licensed in Pennsylvania.
